What subjects are required to become a video game designer?Do these classes require to be taken in High school

Also, what is an average salary for a video game designer? What does the salary depend on?

Unless you go to advanced tech school, I don’t think you can taken any classes in high school. It helps to be an artist. Being computer savvy is a start, but you have loads to learn. You’ll need to pick up programming, and no time like the present to start learning it. Drawing and programming are the two keys to video game design, start getting acquainted with them.

Brandon

It is recommend that you take all the programming courses available in high school you also need physics and a few art courses can’t hurt. As for the salary you start as a low level programmer and they make an average salary then it goes up from there.
